Was very happy there! The food was delicious and the price / performance is okay

Was in the hotel several times, actually ok. You should avoid room 5 because of the extreme smell of sewerage. I don't understand why the owners don't mind.

I was surprised by my husband with lunch from the restaurant today for my wedding anniversary! (Ordered by phone the day before, freshly made & picked up today) Was super delicious 😋 with fried potatoes, great meat & sauce We will order again next week !!

The room was very small and the wifi that was offered did not work. Breakfast was ok.

Small, family-run hotel with an attached restaurant in the center of Wolfsburg. Simple but useful furnished rooms. Clean. Ideal for people picking up cars or visitors to Wolfsburg. Good, classic breakfast. Top price / performance ratio! Nice family.

Room tidy, friendly staff, good breakfast. We had the room facing the pedestrian zone. With the window open in summer, it could get a little louder in summer. Very centrally located. Good starting point for excursions.

Stayed here on business. Location is great, you don't need a car to get to anything interesting. The train station and city center are close by. Breakfast is good, nothing special but everything you normally need. Rooms are rustic but clean. A bit noisy and when the music is loud in the pub (it was a Thursday evening until about 10 p.m.), you can sing along. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to city travelers.

Outstanding food and great service. The Hotel City Journal has a cozy little guest room in which you can quickly feel very comfortable ... Schnitzel Thursday is particularly recommended. Super tasty and a very good price-performance ratio ... The restaurant comes highly recommended, I would eat there again at any time

Nice place at good location

Although the location of the hotel is great (right in the middle of the shopping hub in Wolfsburg), my stay was very unpleasant. Reasons - first, the wifi did not work. When I called the reception they asked me to try a different network, and when that didn't work either, they wanted me to come down with my laptop to the reception. I gave up as I was in no position to go the reception with my laptop late in the evening. The shower door was broken, the breakfast was so so and during check out they did not accept American Express, which is usually the most widely accepted credit card in all hotels. I will not be staying at this hotel again...

Hotel in city centre with free private parking. Rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast is simple.

Was at the cafe, not staying at the hotel. Awesome and nice service with a greate sense of humour. Lovely place to grab a beer and sit in the afternoon sun.

Nice, small hotel in a central location The cleanliness is unfortunately optimizable. The curtains were even, hard and partly full of dust. Behind the about 5 cm from the wall standing bed was also several inches of dust.

The location is good. The hotel for me not. The hotel is located within a shopping arcade. Therefore, the background noise is correspondingly high. Unfortunately, the windows are in no way noise dampening. It made almost no difference if the window was closed or open. The cleanliness was unfortunately not the best. The breakfast was in contrast to the room ok.

Was there at the restaurant and I didn't stay at the hotel. We had lunch there. The service was very slow. I had seasonal asparagus dishes which with schnitzel. The asparagus were o.k by schnitzel was not so good. Overall u better find other place for lunch

Great for short business stays. Small number of nice rooms above pub.

Friendly staff and well located in Wolfsburg. Unfortunately, the checkout time was too long. Breakfast very simple and not healtly. Room is cold during the winter, even with heater turned on.
